Anne and Chris have been joined by Chris Tunniclife and his wife Hoppy Hopkinson and practising is happening in earnest and it&#8217;s all going rather well. We hope to be able to make some recordings so you can see for yourselves in the next few weeks. For now we&#8217;re leaving the website as it was but once we&#8217;ve got something to show you then there will be a big rewrite. Let&#8217;s just say for now that with 4 voices it&#8217;s a different sound but the approach and choice of material remains much the same.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Rob has sportingly agreed for us to continue to use the Eagle Alley name and song arrangements. He is carving out his own path in the duo <a href=\"https:\/\/strangebuttrue.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Strange But True<\/a> with Mick Mangan. Go hear them if you get the chance.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>We are Eagle Alley and welcome to our website, there&#8217;s plenty here for you to look at or listen to. Whatever the reason you&#8217;ve arrived, whether you were looking for us or just happened upon us, please hang around and listen to some of our music. If you like what you hear then come back in a month or two to listen to what&#8217;s new.<\/p>\n<p>So, a few words about us. Eagle Alley is a close harmony group based in Bath and Bradford on Avon. The\u00a0 group are (from the left in the photo above) Anne Gregson, Rob Winder and Chris Timson. We sing unaccompanied close harmony and choose our songs from the English tradition plus some from further away.\u00a0 Two of us are accomplished song writers and they both contribute to the repertoire too.
