Fiery Dragon Company has at last (and about time, perhaps I hear you say) produced an album of our music. It’s an EP called The Lantern of the West.

The title refers to Bath Abbey’s old nickname and is the name of one of the pieces on the album. With seven tracks and a runtime of just over 30 minutes it gives a clear idea of where the group are now and, we firmly believe, is a really good listen. It was recorded, mixed and mastered in Mr Punch’s Studio, the engineer being Anne’s husband Chris Timson.

Prior to Lantern of the West, back in the days when Fiery Dragon was the Fiery Dragon Folk Opera Company, we made a recording of the opera Make Room For Mummers and this is still available.


This is a full cast studio recording of the opera released in May 2014 and featuring the cast and orchestra of the January 2014 performance at the Wiltshire Music Centre.
