Choral

Here are some songs that have been arranged for community choirs. In each case I’m providing the full score and a number of recordings. One recording is of all the parts sung together. Each of the others brings one of the parts to prominence (though you can hear the other parts in the background to give context).

You are welcome to use these songs with your choirs but please let me know if you do. Like any parent I’m very interested to know where my children end up!

All In Harmony
This song seems particularly suitable for choirs with its refrain of “All creation will lift their voices / from the lands and waters all in harmony”. One of my most treasured possessions is a letter from Pete Seeger he wrote to tell me how much he liked the song.

This Time Again
Though it was written some years ago this song feels quite appropriate in a time of coronavirus. We found in our own performances that the song suits slow counterpoint very well so if you feel inventive and want to add some then go for it!

When I Come Home
A song that’s good fun to sing and tells of the joy of coming home after a long time away. The last verse and a half was written by my husband Chris.
